Burgas City Centre
Burgas is the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. You will find shops, museums, restaurants, cafes, the Sea Garden, the Burgas Pier and other great things to see. The Sea Garden is a giant seafront park, spreading over 72,000 sqm, where amusements, cultural activities, sports facilities, festivals and gardens all come together in one attraction. The T-shape Burgas Pier stretches from the Sea Garden out into the Black Sea for almost 300 metres. You can come to walk and look back at the view of the coast or catch a boat to St. Anastasia island. The Archaeological Museum is dedicated to researching, presenting and informing about the prehistoric, antique, mediaeval and more recent archaeology of Burgas and its surrounding countryside.
Burgas Beach
The beach provides a perfect view of the entire Burgas bay. It is a favorite place for locals and visitors alike, found just next to the Sea Garden. The beach is pleasant for swimming or tanning under the bright sun rays. It attracts visitors not only with its spacious strip, which reaches a width of up to 30 metres, but also with its location. It is where the Spice Music Festival takes place. You can find showers and changing facilities for your convenience and comfort. The beach is also equipped with various play grounds (volleyball, football and beach tennis) so that visitors can engage in sports under the sun rays and vary their stay in a healthy and fun way.
Sand Sculptures Festival
Each year the Sand Sculptures Festival celebrates sand sculptures produced by skillful sand artists. It is the only sand festival of its kind in the region. Come and get impressed by the diverse thoughts and their elucidation. It is an event that draws renowned sand sculptors and thousands of visitors from around the world each year to Burgas. In the Sea Garden, next to the beach, every summer there is a kingdom built of sand figures. The festival theme is different each year – “Sea World”, “Fairy Tale Heroes”, “Circus”, “Cartoon Character”, “Hall of Fame”, etc. Over 2500 tons of sand is used in this remarkable spectacle. Artistic lighting adds to the charm of the unique sand city in the evening. The Sand Sculptures Festival is organized by Municipality Burgas. It welcomes participants from around the world – Indonesia, England, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, etc.
Galleria Mall
Mall Galleria Burgas is a big shopping centre in Burgas. It was opened in May 2012.
